Do I Need to purchase a Turo Protection Plan?
Turo protection plans are available with your booking if you don’t have personal insurance that transfers to your rental. If you have your own personal ICBC insurance and either Roadstar or Roadside Plus packages, your personal coverage transfers to your Turo rental so no additional coverage is needed. I’ve been in an accident, does ICBC cover the cost of a rental vehicle while my vehicle is being fixed?
If you have your own personal ICBC insurance with either Roadstar or Roadside Plus packages, or purchased stand-a-lone loss of use coverage your rental fees may be covered by ICBC while your vehicle is being repaired. Confirm with your adjustor.
Is there a cost to add additional driver?
There is no charge to add additional drivers but they must create their own Turo account to be added.
Do I need a major credit card to book?
No you do not and there are a variety of flexible payment methods.
Can I book the vehicle and have someone else pick-it up? Only the account holder can pick-up and return the vehicle, and is responsible for the booking.
